WONDER PROJECT

                                              WONDER PROJECT!!!!

Bonjour Bloggers, yesterday we blasted off Waitemata's rockets. If you want read  about the Wonder Project then just read this blog post. My teammates names were:

  • Angelina - the Captain
  • Yousuf - chief engineer
  • Anthony - chief safety officer
  • Me - the chief scientist!
After choosing what engineers we wanted to be, we started building rockets. We thought of how well it would fly or how far it would fly too. So we just waited for the shoot off which was the week after we finished building our first rockets and remember this was the final flights for the Wonder Project.

When we started shooting our rockets it went up super high but it didn't go far. To determine how far it would go or how high it would go up in the air we had to add some water into the bottle. We could put in 25 ml for our first flight and 300 ml for our last on. How much would you put in your water bottle if you made a rocket?  I would add 325ml in my bottle if I was you. Anyway when it was our turn to blast off our rocket we decided that we should point it 45 angles towards south, and mostly everyone did that too.

Someone had to pump and of course it was me. We had to pump the pressure from 0 to 60. When we did that Angelina started recording all of the PSI or the wind. 3, 2, 1 BLAST OFF ours went super high but didn't go that far. It went 14 .36 metres, which for our group was pretty far to be honest, we even beat our own score. We went last and we were in last place but no one was mad.  When everyone did their rocket we clapped and all went inside and put away our Wonder Project equipment. And that was the whole experience of the Wonder Project. Aloha bloggers!!!!!!!
