Bula Bloggers, Welcome back to my blog.
Yesterday my whole school and I did Matariki. We all did in our own classes.
Our first block!!! Stop motion animation
Matariki or the seven sisters. The first thing we did was to partner up with a buddy my buddy was called Peitynn. Maybe I could add the video so all you guys can watch what we made! Anyways we made our characters out of clay and we made our background out of paper and coloured it in with Maori colours like red, black and white but we didn't colour it in white. Uhhh anyways again way off track.
Then when it was ten fifty four we had to stop. To go to morning tea.
Now we are on the second block which was kite making!!
First we had to get a strip of paper and start making patterns on the different strips of paper. Then when we were finished we had to give to the students that had to glue it on the kite. And at the end there will be some really cool photos of it!!. Again off track after everyone's pattern was glued on the massive kite we put red and black feathers on it. Then we hung up on the walls or the roof. Then we finished at 12:56.
Then after lunch we did FRY BREAD!!!! AKA SO SO YUMM.
The first thing we had to do was so obvious washing our hands to we don't put germs on the dough. It was super easy to make all you needed was water and self raising powder how easy is that. So much times now kinda off track. Then when we finished and came back from the toilet from washing our dirty hands but not mine. Then the teacher started pouring the self raising powder and water in and made dough. Then she split so we could have a turn rolling it with a rolling pin well it wasn't a rolling pin it was actually a glad wrap roll but don't tell her I wrote it on here! Then the teacher called our group up
and we fried my favourite part was eating it was so so so yum and yes it deserves three so's okay. We could add butter , Nutella , jam and golden syrup. Then when we were finished we cleaned up all our mess and then it was super close to three o'clock. And that's all I got to say have a good weekend and goodbye!
